I've been privatizing old entries on LJ, going over old dramas and whatnot. So in between entries, while waiting for my dial-up to load, I fiddle with the shit on my desk. I just clamped a large octopus clip (vaguely oval-spidery looking thing for holding hair) around the handle of a screwdriver, and POOF! I just created a tank. It's like having my own real-life video game. I can't attack my mouse though. First, the mousepad proteced it, as the octopus tank couldn't cross onto it. Then, I discovered that even when the long screwdriver spear is in reach, the mouse is too short, and the tank just skims over it. Curse you iMac mouse!

Hey, just a question. If somebody was working as a janitor in an office building, and they were given a set ... amount of space to clean each night, what is a reasonable amount for an eight hour shift?

Well, I cleaned four pairs of bathrooms (three stalls, two sinks each), two medium kitchens, one big one and three small ones, and vacuumed one and one third floors of a four story office building. My co-worker emptied four floors worth of cubicle garbage cans, and vacuumed one and one third floors. My other co-worker did miscellaneous stuff (window washing, stair sweeping, etc) as well as vacuuming her share.
I'd say, if you had to do all tasks, rather than separating them like we did, maybe two floors. Maybe one if it's a really big building.
