This morning, I realized that this weekend's Norwescon is going to be my first real convention since I had my series of nervous breakdowns last fall, along with the subsequent Wellbutrin treatments, personal revelations and choices and the major personality changes that have come with this. I'm curious to see what this will be like, if nothing, it will at least remind me of the parts of myself that still are. (namely, my hatred of being in a room crammed with hundreds of people like sardines.)

Does Wellbutrin cause any insomnia for you? It's flagged as a "do not use" for me for that very reason.

Also, I've found that if a convention has a good vibe, it can rub off on you.

It doesn't give me any worse insomnia than I always have, but I also am taking it to treat ADHD, so stimulants are good for me. I don't think I've actually met anyone aside from myself for whom Wellbutrin worked well!

It worked well for my mom, but you haven't actually met her, so yeah. I'd been considering trying it, but if it has stimulant effects, probably shouldn't, since I have a history of strong/weird response to stimulants.

Best of luck at NWC! One of these years, I really want to make it over for that, but it's never worked out.
