New Years advice

nonionayI spent New Years as close to the base of the Space Needle as I could get. Here's how it went, as the fireworks went off right above my head.
"Ooohh... Ahhh... AGH MY EYES!!!"
Wear safety goggles people. If you're going to be crying as the New Year arrives, don't let it be because of fireworks cinders falling into your eyes.
(Don't worry, both Keffy and I retained our vision, our hair didn't catch fire, and neither were we trampled to death by the mob that really wanted the fire marshall to open up the gate. The show was spectacular, and everyone was in good cheer.)
