I want to ask my friends and family to, instead of buying me individual Christmas presents this year, to pool their resources to get me a relatively inexpensive dslr camera (possibly with bonus macro lens, though I can probably make do with a makeshift one for a while. Those boogers are expensive!) I considered opening a Kickstarter fund, but they take a good chunk of the money raised. Is there any other way to give people a chance to dump money into a common fund?
