In other news, I did find my debit card, and yes, it was in an incredibly stupid and obvious place. I found it literally one minute before we left. Fortunately, I was able to get it uncancelled.
Oh I watched the Kea documentary over a few days--a NZer friend of mine hates hates hates those birds even though she admires their intelligence. They can strip a car in nothing flat, just cuz it is fun.
And the sheep? I cannot get that out of my head. OMG.
