totally cool. The question is does it have staying power or will it get boring soon as well (or break down)

I'd imagine that even if it does break down, it will still have a little fun power. At the start of the video, I actually thought it was just painted. That would actually be a more practical experiment, since I for one would go crazy if every staircase was a goddamned piano. But if every staircase was painted in a unique and fun way, that would be awesome.
