This weekend, we had a write-in at spencimusprime's house. On the way, I was sidetracked by not one, but two garage sales. I'm always on the lookout for cheap cds, so I went in. At the first, a huge fundraising sale for a school and/or church, the only cs I found was a slightly sticky A Cheap Trick box set.Fifty cents. I'm listening to it right now, and it makes me happy.

I also got magnetic poetry full of mildly dirty words, and a fabulous folding screen.

And then there was the second garage sale, right across from Spencer's house. Three of us visited it separately, and when discussing it, concluded we all had to head over and buy Dragonmaster, a fantasy game of mythical cards and mystical crystals. It looks a lot like a fancy version of hearts. But yes, our writing group now has a collectively owned board game.
