Is the Hokey-Pokey Anti-Catholic?

And the Language Log post where I found this. -- Note the comment pointing out that Catholics still don't have full rights in the UK.

Now I want to have a hokey-pokey mass. Led by the Pope.

You're HTML is broken. You're missing a quote in one of your links, there.

I really like this quote:

Secondly, religion is just an idea. It should be afforded no more protection from criticism/ridicule/hatred than any other form of thought.

I HATE religion and I'm proud of it.

I don't actually subscribe to the thought, because religion is often tied to ethnicity, but it does point out the pitfalls of being overly protective of schools of thought. Or, maybe it emphasizes the need to be protective. It's a tricky thing.

Hm. I'm not missing any quotes. It looks like LJ thinks the URL cuts off earlier than it does. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Ah, no! I was mistaken! It's the equals sign. You put a minus sign in there instead. Stray pinky finger is to blame.

It was a copy and paste job. Changing it to a hyphen doesn't fix it.

No, that's backward. I explained it poorly. The syntax should be:

a href="http..."

On both links. What a hassle, eh?
