2008 in summary

nonionayQuick, before the quiche and pop rocks have babies...
Started out with a bang and a new house. Double-paned windows AND a cat!
Creatively, though, I started out in a slump, but with the determination to just have fun with my writing. Now, at the end of the year, I'm writing at well over the 500 word a day average I promised myself at the beginning of the year, and I'm having a hell of a lot of fun. I'll come close to having a zero draft of a novel. Just a few more days...
Other things, in chronological order:
I got fish!
I lost my voice for several days.
I hacked off my fingernail with a sickle
I had jury duty for the first time.
I went to a minor league baseball game.
I met internet people! And got to live with one! And another cat!
I descended once more into the swampy pit of polyamory.
I tried to write educationally about typography, but never finished the series.
Another cat! (kitten!)
I read William S Burroughs
I still haven't finished Dhalgren.
