An attempt to stir up lively discussion
Dec. 26th, 2008 12:19 pmIt takes two days for a man on horseback to travel from point A to point B. How long does it take a zombie army?
(And now I'm having to update my dad on current zombie conventions. He is unaware of so-called "fast zombies")

Date: 2008-12-26 09:16 pm (UTC)For instance the "zombies" in 28 DAYS LATER and 28 WEEKS LATER are not zombies, by the "undead" definition, since they are still alive. They could however fall under the Haitian definition of "zombie". Either way, these "zombies" have shown themselves to be faster than normal humans.
On the other hand, Jason Voorhees of FRIDAY THE 13TH fame could be squeezed into the definition of "zombie". If so, than he would always beat the horses (or at least catch up to them within moments of their arrival to point B), despite the fact that he would never appear to be moving faster than a speedy walk.
And don't even get me started on the AMRY OF DARKNESS...
