It's raining today like I haven't seen in a long time. But it's warm enough that I can keep the window open for the cats to smell the outside world. It's the perfect day for sitting around doing Nano. I've got two cats in my room keeping me company. The kitten has been angling for the pull cord on the venetian blinds. And with a thump and a jerk on a cardboard box, kitten has just discovered my desktop aquarium. OMG little darting things!

Of course, I have to venture out sometime today to clean work and visit my parents. :-(

I have to go take my computer back (am on my son's old laptop--thank heavens it works still). Very bad start to nano-ing, but there's nothing I can do about that. I can get on the site now, but it argues with me about finding how to add people!

The writing buddy feature on Nano sucks.

My mini-laptop ran out of power at our kick-off party. :-( Fortunately, I was prepared and had a notebook. But I'm glad I don't have to do this all by hand!

They remove the author search function during times of "high traffic." Is that what you mean? Because I miss it too, and it will be gone most of November! >:| haha
