BELLINGHAM -- Two people were reportedly injured this morning in a house fire in the 2800 block of Elm Street.
According to unofficial reports, witnesses heard an explosion in a garage and smoke and flames were showing in the house, which was reported at about 9 a.m. Two residents of the house were quickly evacuated by firefighters but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
Drivers in the vicinity of the fire can expect delays as firefighters have closed portions of Elm, Illinois, Kulshan and E. Maryland streets.
