I love my dad to death, but he is the most boring science fiction fan ever.

I asked my dad what he thought might define "Heinleinian," because I knew he likes Heinlein, and he said, "it's been a while since I've read anything, but I think he writes more science fiction than fantasy." He reads more SFF than anything else, but he doesn't get excited or geeky like some of the fans I know.
