Weirdness of the day

Weird thing of the day:

Yesterday, I got an e-mail full of coupons for a local natural foods store. I haven't gotten anything like that from them, though I remember signing up for their mailing list. But hey, they were great coupons, so I printed one out and gave it to my co-worker, since I knew he loved that particular brand of yogurt.

Now, he hasn't used that coupon yet.

This morning, he --who is not on the mailing list-- got an e-mail apologizing for the coupon e-mail, which went out accidentally. I didn't get the apology e-mail.

And what's to apologize for? It wasn't any loud, obnoxious advertisements, it was a bunch of coupons for some kickass deals on great products.
