Thought organizing
Feb. 13th, 2008 11:36 amAll right, here's my rule:
I need to start focusing on the moemnt, like I did when I was working 12-13 hours a day, because otherwise, I start wishing I was doing other things and that just gets me frustrated.
I was talking with Tye about how tiring moving was becoming, wearing me down little by little until my nerves are raw. Having a month and a half to do this is fine in some ways, but in others it would have been easier if it was just done. We all want it to be over, but it's not, so we can't relax, tempting as it is, since the important stuff's done.
So if you see me and I'm snippy, it's because I'm worn the crap out.
The plan:
Tonight - Go home and eat/do something useful: either unpack or critique something. Go to Wednesday writing meeting, come home early if possible, do other Useful Thing not done earlier.
Thursday - Go to old place after work, work on kitchen until it's as clear as the living room. (with likely exception of refridgerator) Come home, do Useful Thing.
Friday: writing meeting and goofoff. Because my energy is totally scattered right now, I probably won't have my scene ready for critiquing. :-(
Saturday: Finish cleaning and packing public areas of old house. Deal with refrigerator. Have all stuff in neat pile in living room.
Sunday: Have dad help me move the last of my stuff.
Monday: Rest.
Weekend after: hardcore cleaning time.
Weekend after that: Potlatch!
Thanks so much to everyone who's helped out. You can't imagine how much I appreciate it. I don't have a car, and feel terrible that I'm dependent on others for transportation.
