Seriously weird

So these past few days we've had some crazy wind storms. During this entire blustery winter, my power has gone off for a total of however many seconds it takes for me to reach beside me, pick up a flashlight, and turn it on.
Tonight, there is no wind.
Today, I was at the YMCA, when the power went off for about fifteen seconds. Shortly after, I was in the sauna when the fire alarm went off. (And I couldn't hear it over the thumping of the basketball players above me!) But it soon went off, a false alarm. At least in the locker room; in the lobby it was still on.
Walking down State Street, some of the streetlights were off, but not all. The stoplights were off. Some building lights were on. In Bargainica, some lights were on, some were off. The "Open" sign was on, but we had to pry the automatic door open. One refrigerator was off, but the one next to it was on.
When I got home, my power was on, but fifteen minutes later, poof!
Seriously weird.
Batman villains. That's the only explanation.
