nonionayOMG! I just got all symbolic with one of my minor point of view characters. Her plot arc wasn't standing well on it's own, so I just imagined her as "the pure heart of the Genarchy. (ie, my version of the Catholic Church) Fear of change holds it, but it's still decent."
Now things make a lot more sense. Don't worry, I'm not going to say she's the pure heart of the Genarchy.
