nonionayGnostic Dream
Last night I dreamed about the birth of Jesus. In the dream, apparantly there was a confusion with the bible translation, and in fact it said that Jesus was born with a twin brother in the midst of flames. Only one of the brothers was the son of God, however, a la Castor & Pollux/Helen& Clytemnestra. This all made perfect sense to me, since I'd already heard of Thomas the Twin. I love it when my subconscious shows me profound things I already know.
Anyway, in the dream, Mary was lying there with these two babies in her arms, fire all around her chest. The fire contracted, but stayed in Jesus' heart as the familiar sacred heart image. Pretty dream, even if Jesus was an ugly baby.

I've gotten a lot of the new scenes done for the Blood Rose rewrite. At work, I realized I needed to have a character write something on his hand. So I wrote "Write on Hand" on my hand.

rejection

csinman got his rejection letter for the anthology first. Based on his rejection, I knew mine would. (editor doesn't like horror) It was indeed a pleasant, personal rejection letter. I would have been confused by the reasoning, (I thought it had a happy ending!) but Keffy was there to put it in context for me. It's a problem I'm not sure I can fix (if I even need to) so I'm just going to send it on to the next market. (saycestsay, I might be sending it Noctum Aeternus' way.)
