Feb. 17th, 2007 12:46 amA lot of people have commented that I have problems with point of view -- I don't write deeply, and they have trouble getting into my characters' heads. I'm not very good at writing characters' emotional reactions, ( I keep my own tightly controlled.) Tonight, this was mentioned at just the right time. :-) Part of my lastest wave of angst is that I know I can improve my writing, but I can't figure out how, and no one has been able to point things out either. But now I have something I can focus on. I know I can do it (in my smut, I allow myself to go overboard describing emotional reactions) and it's not something that will force me to rewrite everything from scratch. I was on the verge of starting on something brand new, but I think that if I did so, I'd still have this same problem.
So thanks,
kaerfel :-)
