Two nights ago I finished editing The Blood Rose Devouring, which means I've got a 100% done story ready to submit to Raven. Now I'm going to send it to a couple friends, get a reader reaction, and send it off.
In the meantime, I'm going to freak out because I just discovered that big, important chunks of Book 3 are missing. I'm just praying that they're on another computer. I was looking over it, determining the last bits that need ironing out, and being all, ugh... I'm sick of this. I looked at the ending. Ughh..I need to rewrite the ending. Wait a minute, I already did!

One of the reviews inside said something like "Ruth is noble and honest, a modern-day woman in an old world."

Er... yeah. That's why I read historical novels, to show how much better we modern-day people are!
She's got some nice details, though, so far. And aside from the present-tense and obvious Mary-Sueing, it might not be too bad. But I've only gotten a few scenes in.

On the other side, I also started the Shadowmoon book. As soon as I hit the bit about the Silverdeath encompassing the emperor, I was hooked. :-)
