Adventures with the WTA
Sep. 30th, 2002 12:00 pmSo I have to get J to the train by 10:20. No problem, we'll catch bus 27. Well, I forgot that during school, both 7 and 27 come by at the same time, and only one will stop, since everyone is going to Western anyway, and the buses are packed. I have no problem with this, I knew we could switch buses at Western. The bus 7 driver radioed the 27 and told it to wait for us. Well, it didn't stay. 7 tried again, "meet us at 21st St. " "OK" came the reply. We get to 21st, no 27. Our driver is getting righteously pissed off now, and radios the supervisor. He drops us off at a bus stop, and tells us a white van will be by to pick us up so we don't miss our train. Five white vans pass us by, one from an Electric contractor, one from the Carpenter Shop, Paint shop, Plumbing Shop, and Tech Maintenence. Soon, though, our ride takes us to the train, where the train is waiting. I felt all rushed, but the train was just going to sit there for ten minutes. Nevertheless, I felt so rushed and mildly stressed, that I didn't really get to give a proper goodbye. But I'll live. It's just getting harder and harder to be away from that guy.
Anyway, I am now in Bellingham, and available for socializing, Kristen, San, maybe Poetry Night tonight?
