Oct. 17th, 2009 10:49 amSo, does anyone here know anything about non-genre short story markets? I only know about like, The New Yorker, and maybe Glimmer Train. I'm sure I can go to the library and read some to get a handle on tone and content, but what about the other stuff? I know that with sf, there's "The Big Three"--F&SF, Asimov's and Analog, and I know that Clarkesworld and Fantasy have super fast turnaround times.
What's worth submitting to?
Duotrope's got a huge list of names, but I'm interested in stuff like reputations and how friendly they are to newbies.
