I admit, one of the reasons I'm doing it is because I'm morbidly curious to see what it will do to my thought processes. Of course, I also have the irrational urges to see what it would be like to throw myself in front of a bus, or see what all the fuss is about heroin. You'd think that if I'm smart enough not to do that, I'd know not to turn "@" into my dominant language tool.
ehcoleman I'm making myself use my real--"real" meaning my real name with an initial changed for writing-ness--on the internet. Someday, I'll changeover on LJ. Maybe...
This is probably unusual, since it is a social networking site, but I find myself using Twitter just for me. It's like a real-time diary that is never too long to read later, and since I only write down the interesting parts of my day, it's a neat way to map only my noteworthy experiences.
I realize I'm still lame, but at least it's lame from being a self-absorbed geek instead of a spineless socialite!
