Last night I dreamed McCain voluntarily dropped out of the race for health reasons, and we ended up with Rudy Giuliani as the Republican candidate. In the dream, I was happy about this (at least, the McCain dropping out bit). I've had a lot of dreams where nothing happens, I'm just standing around being happy with the way the election season is going.

What would happen if McCain suddenly dropped of a heart attack or something? Ron Paul? Huckabee? I can't imagine my dream is accurate.

Be thankful for small favors. McCain pisses off Rush Limbaugh--he can't be all bad!

except the reason rush is mad at him is not that they don't agree on everything, just that he (mccain) didn't always agree with him (rush) and hence rush doesn't think he (mccain) is ideologically sound.

I try not to follow the ins and outs of republican politics but my sense is that the only one that could whip up a strong enough organization and pull enough strings in the time left is romney.

Oh, I'm happy to have McCain. I just wish he was more...stable.
