nonionayI just finished The Scar, by China Miéville. I think I like it even better than Perdido Street Station. Maybe because the prose is a little less verbose (he only used "vertiginous" and "salubrious" once each!) Maybe because it's about political manipulations. Maybe just because it's got a vampire. :-)
