One thing I forgot to say this morning was that, damn, writing a short story feels good! I mean, I just made something... finished... in a few days! I've heard that from others, but this is the first I've felt it. It's like a runner's high. Damn.

It's probably a combination of all the writing stuff, the fact that I had a long but productive day at work, and the weather's beautiful, but I feel giddy. I just took a shower with the window open, and with the leaf-scented breeze, it was like getting drunk.

I once wrote a 120,000 word novel in 6 weeks. It was one of the best experience's I've ever had, and boy was I HIGH everyday. And every time I finish a novel, I basically don't sleep for a week because finishing feels SO good and my brain won't stfu and leave me alone because it gets too hyped up. I can't say I have the same feeling about short stories, but I know the feeling, and it rocks. ;)
