The Woes of Book 3
Jan. 13th, 2007 10:12 amThere's still a slender chance I have a backup at work, but, ummm... WTF?
Remember when, months ago, I freaked out about Book 3 and massively rewrote big chunks of it? I literally threw that manuscript across my room into a pile of laundry. I rewrote it, and then re-read it several times because I was so enamoured of what I wrote. So I know it has existed. This is so wierd, I can only imagine I'm hallucinating it, and come Monday, everything will be back to normal.
Or, I'll have to suck in my gut and re-rewrite the darn thing, which probably wouldn't hurt too much, and would keep me humble and all that. And maybe I'll improve it, since right now I feel like it's a sprawling, muttering mass.
So
celtictiger, that scene you've been looking forward to? Doesn't exist. If I let you keep reading I'll stick a note in saying "It happens here. It's awesome." More likely, I'll make you read The Blood Rose.
