Movies

Tonight there was Zombieland and macaroni and cheese, and lo, it was good.

And at the video store, when I was picking out movies, I saw a wide grey case with the classy phrase, "Criterion Collection" on it's spine, and beneath those words was, "The Rock." I picked it up. The The Rock? Yep. I stared at it for a long time. I looked at my hands to see if they'd turn purple and I'd snap into a lucid dream.

I like The Rock. It was the first ever Rated-R movie I saw in a theatre. But...Criterion Collection?

How Did You Like "Zombieland"?

Also, sometimes there's no explaining The Criterion Collection. Even the old Steve McQueen movie "The Blob" got a CC release!

Zombieland was fucking awesome! Fucking flawless, it was.

At least The Blob has some degree of "Classic." The Rock's barely a decade old! It's not even that iconic or game-changing.

Wow. I want your sense of time. The Rock is from way back in 1996. More than "barely a decade old." LOL

The Blob = 1958 = 5.2 decades old.
The Rock = 1996 = 1.4 decades old.

While comparing to something over a half century old, I'd say it's barely over a decade.

Just saw Zombieland myself. I loved it.

I liked The Rock too. :)
